The Media Centre is an emerging service on Queen’s University campus which operates under the Alma Mater Society. We offer basic and specialty printing, photography, videography, graphic design, the AMS Agenda, CoursePacks, Poster Sales, the Tricolour Yearbook, and more!
The Media Centre is an entirely student-run organization. As a part of the Alma Mater Society of Queen’s University, the Media Centre operates as a Not-For-Profit, meaning we can keep our margins competitive and accessible to students, and offer unique student jobs to over 50 undergraduates each year. We are proud to provide students with learning opportunities to develop valuable media and production skills in a fun, high-energy environment. Whether you’re interested in designing the yearbook or working with our team to cover your next game, we have something for everyone.
Although the Media Centre is a new service, our presence on campus as a provider of media and printing has been longstanding. This service is resulting from a merger between two previous AMS services, the Printing and Copy Centre and StudioQ. The Media Centre will continue to provide all products and services previously provided by these two services.
